Our Project during the Two Years’ Cooperation

Our project enlightened the importance of music to reduce differences among students. During the two years’ collaboration, every Partner agreed that music is the right means to foster equality eliciting emotions and feelings which are common to everyone all over the world. Music was considered a bridge among European countries linking them in a single UNION which spoke a single language. The six schools worked together and gathered under the motto “MUSIC UNITES”. All of the participant pupils learnt and performed music which was the main aim of the activities. All those engaged in the mobilities rehearsed and sang a “common song”.  On the last day of each mobility a concert was held. The concert, “MUSIC UNITES EUROPE”, was the top of point of peace friendship, team spirit and European Unity. We observed that students' involvement in musical activities had a positive impact on other areas of their lives, including students' self-discipline, self-esteem, creative ...

I was a little bit scared and worried before the trip because I used to think that Christian people are very different from us, the Muslims. But, when I met them, I saw how kind and tolerant they are. I really enjoyed working and spending time with them. Especially making music together was amazing. And while singing, I didnt feel shy in front of so many foreigners, because they weren’t strangers to me anymore. We have become very good friends. And I feel that I have many special friends from all over Europe. I am very lucky to get to know different people from various countries. And I can say that I see all those countries as my second home. Also, my hosting family was awesome and caring. They tried to do their best to make me happy during my visit. It was a wonderful seven days. I couldn’t hold my tears on the last day. My hosting family members were crying, too. ( STUDENT) Seher MUSLU

Project trips motivate both the students and the teachers because they give the chance to explore new countries and their cultures. During the process of selecting which students to join the project trips, we try to tell them the magnificent joy of being in a multinational environment. But the students can’t imagine this feeling before the trip. They can understand it better when they experience the beauty of diversity in terms of both culture and friendship at a foreign school. Thanks to the projects, the prejudgments disappear and very close friendships are built. No matter how different they are from each other, I witnessed that when the students are together, they create great works, love the colorful atmosphere and never want to leave each other. By the way, I have participated a few EU projects and I have observed that students from other countries are really good at English. And naturally, as an English teacher I have always been curious about the resources, system an...

This project is the best thing I have ever had in my life. In my opinion this project couldn't be better. This Project is about traditional music . Actually traditional music is far away to my music style. So firstly I thought like İt will be hard.  But it was so easy and enjoyfull. Thanks to this project I did not just enjoy, when I was enjoying I improved my English skill. By the way I learned new sentences about other languages. Thanks to everybody who makes this project. Erasmus+: Capialbi to Greece

“ In Thessaloniki we used to move around the city with a bus full of people from six different countries, and even if it was a bit chaotic it was fun. We made lots of friends and I still text with some of them once in a while. We learnt about other cultures, other music, customs and traditions. To conclude this magical experience each country performed in a concert because this Erasmus Project was strictly linked to music. We went to rehearse and perform in Thessaloniki conservatory, near the school. It was really sad to say “goodbye” on our last day but when I came back home I had my mind full of new ideas and I was inspired by all the people I had met during only seven days. It was an experience that I will never forget and I thank my school for this opportunity.”

Erasmus+ Project gave so many beautiful things to my life. In the name of music contributed a great deal to me. I've never sung in front of the crowded group of people before. I did it in a foreign country. It was a great experience for me. Meeting, socializing , chatting, having fun with, and singing  was very exciting. So it was so hard to leave them. I would love to have them all as a guest here in my own house and in my country one day. Without a doubt I'd go again if I had the chance to go. DERYA CAKIR

It was the best experience for me. I really enjoyed in this week and had a lot of friends. Their culture, creed, life and music.. was very different for me. And I'm so happy that I learned all of these things. Also I hope they loved our culture, music and foods of course. Finally I want to do it again if I can.  BATUHAN YERLI

Music to decrease Inequality at school 2017

Erasmus+ 2017 Participating in a European Erasmus+ Project is quite an experience. Among others, you have the chance to meet colleagues from other countries and cooperate with them in order to achieve the goals of the project. Meeting people is exciting for me. It gives you the chance to exchange ideas, discover foreign cultures and eventually become a citizen of the world. This is certainly a challenge! You not only give all the best you have but you also have to overcome yourself and make miracles. After having worked in various projects so far, I have to admit that it isn't always easy to find the material needed, motivate the students and eventually form a group of them who are really interested in participating in this unique experience. Working closely with my students, guiding them and travelling with them created a strong bond between us. This relationship along with the newly formed friendships with my colleagues are de...

My experience in an Erasmus+ Project

My experience in an Erasmus+ Project I would like to thank my school for the opportunity it has given to me to participate in the Erasmus Plus project in Romania. It was an amazing experience that allowed me to improve the English language and meet great people from other countries. During the week I spent with the other guys I learned to respect and appreciate all their cultures and traditions. I’m really glad that I had the chance to participate in this project because the friendships made in this experience occupy a bit of my heart.                                                                            ...

Music Unites People

Erasmus+ mobilities never fail to amaze me. They are not only a great way to broaden an individual's mind by travelling and getting an opportunity to explore other cultures, but also essential to the growth of a performing artist. The program provides several international concerts in which a pupil is able to practice performing in front of the audience. What is more, all the students, who actively take part in the project can even play or sing together and perform in an international choire in previously mentioned concerts, as well. It's worth to mention that other competences, like social skills and flexibility are being improved – the programme is put together in a way which encourages students to actively communicate with each other during the international workshops or the fact that all the pupils are accommodated in the families of the local students, who are participating in the same project. These types of mobilities clearly are both beneficial in a p...
